Senior practitioner and partner, Joseph Morris, leads our West Coast team, working out of Parry Field’s dedicated Hokitika office. He assists clients in a wide range of legal matters including commercial property and conveyancing transactions, subdivisions, farm sales and purchases as well as succession planning, and asset protection.

Joseph has experience in civil litigation, family law and dispute resolution and is able to ensure clients have the benefit of the expertise of our wider team across the firm.

This way our West Coast clients have the benefit of local support and advice on a variety of legal matters, which may not otherwise be available in a smaller practice.

Joseph graduated from Otago University in 2009 with a double degree in law and classical history. He joined Parry Field in our Christchurch office in 2009 before moving to the Coast in 2016. He was appointed as a partner in April 2022.

Outside of the law Joseph enjoys spending time with his wife and four children, and also makes time to sit on the Board of Kaniere Primary School.
