What matters to you?
At Parry Field Lawyers it’s a question we care about. What kind of work is important to you? How do you want your career to progress?
We care about what matters to you because as part of our team – you will matter to us.
What we do
We work with clients to get ‘to the heart of what matters’ to them. That means we’re by our clients’ sides to understand their needs and provide the best legal options for their circumstances.
- Our clients are diverse —individuals and organisations, start-ups and established businesses, charitable and for profit.
- Our client relationships are enduring. We work hard to find solutions and our focus is on having a positive impact – for our clients, our team as we work together and for the communities that we contribute to.
With four offices, and a team of around 80, your work with us will be varied and exciting. If you would like to be part of a values-based law firm that genuinely nurtures its people, we’d love to hear from you.

“It’s exciting to be able to work with clients in a fairly niche area who are wanting to create positive impact in the world, such as charities and start-ups. It’s satisfying to drill down into what the clients are trying to achieve and advising on the best legal structures for their goals. It feels good to work for a firm that wants to develop enduring client relationships, rather than seeing clients purely as financial transactions.”
Michael graduated from the University of Canterbury with an LLB and BA with a double major in Political Sciences and Media and Communications. Joining us as a Law Clerk he now works as part of Commercial Team assisting impact-driven clients such as charities, start-ups and businesses.
“I am continually challenged and supported to be my best. I was involved in real legal work immediately, participating in client meetings and learning from more experienced lawyers. The exposure to a range of interesting and sometimes curly legal issues has been great for my development. I also enjoy collaborating with lawyers from the other teams and offices within Parry Field.”
Vicky joined us in May 2022 after completing her LLB and BA majoring in Classics and English from the University of Canterbury. She’s now working with our Litigation and Disputes Resolution team and says she’s enjoying using her research and problem-solving skills to help clients resolve their issues.
