Craig studied Law and Sociology at Kingston University in London, UK, whilst working as a Police Constable in West Sussex Police. He went on to work as prosecutor for Warwickshire County Council, specialising in Education Law cases and advising on legislative change.

During his time at Warwickshire he also helped co-ordinate Warwickshire Council’s response to the Lord Laming Inquiry and in 2005 attended an International Education conference in Sardinia as the UK representative, taking responsibility for collating the conference members conclusions and presenting these to the European Union.

Craig returned to New Zealand in 2007 with his wife and two daughters and has since worked across legal roles covering Commercial leases, Civil, Family litigation and Employment law. Craig also has an extensive background in Residential Social work with Barnardo’s in the UK and it is this that has led him to joining the Family Litigation team at Parry Field.

In his spare time he enjoys travelling and can be seen paddling his kayak on the Lyttleton harbour in the weekends, close to his home.
