Doris joined Parry Field Lawyers to specifically service the needs of migrants in the areas of commercial, property, business and trust law. She joined in May 2012 after completing her Masters in Law (International Trade, Law of the Sea and International Environmental Law) at the University of Canterbury.
Prior to that, Doris was practising in a law firm in the North Island in general practice for three years and was a member of the Manawatu District Law Society from 2008 to 2009.
Doris is fluent in Mandarin and understands a few other Chinese dialects such as Cantonese and Foo Chow.
Doris is actively involved with her local church where she is currently leading study groups, is part of the music team, a Sunday school teacher, has a passion particularly with youth and is one of the co-leaders of her church’s youth group. Apart from work and her involvement with church, her interests include reading, travelling and snowboarding.
