Kendall Mead

Kendall is a Senior Solicitor in the Family and Civil Litigation teams at Parry Field Lawyers. She graduated from the University of Canterbury with an LLB with First Class Honours and has been part of the team since 2023.

Her family work includes matters arising when relationships end, including the division of property following separation under the Property (Relationships) Act 1976, contracting out agreements, and parenting and guardianship matters under the Care of Children Act 2004. She has a particular interest in day-to-day care arrangements and guardianship issues.

On the commercial side, Kendall advises on a variety of contractual disputes, joint venture, shareholder and director issues. She also works within the incorporated societies framework, in particular regarding operation under the new Incorporated Societies Act 2022.

Kendall thrives on untangling intricate legal matters and guiding clients through every step of the resolution process, whether in the courtroom or through alternative solutions. Her commitment to excellence extends to her academic contributions, with her work “A Lost Generation: Children Detained in Al-Hol and Their Repatriation under International Law” (2022) showcasing her ability to address complex legal issues with a global perspective.

Outside work, Kendall enjoys spending time with family and friends and getting away to the Coromandel.
