Daniel Morton-Jones

Daniel joined the civil litigation team at Parry Field Lawyers in July 2024 and has a particular interest in disputes and advocacy for his clients.

With a disciplined, results-driven approach, Daniel is dedicated to resolving matters quickly and protecting his clients’ interests. Daniel’s background in both law and military service—where he was recognized as ‘Top Recruit’ for his platoon in the Royal New Zealand Infantry Reserves—reflects his strategic mindset and commitment to achieving favourable legal outcomes for his clients.

Daniel graduated with an LLB (Hons) from the University of Canterbury in 2022, earning two scholarships and was admitted to the Bar in 2024. Committed to continuous growth, Daniel actively pursues professional development and refining his expertise.

Outside of work, he enjoys pushing his limits—whether through personal development or heading out on a hunting or diving trip, and spending time with his young family.
