Sophie Greenhalgh

Sophie joined Parry Field Lawyers as a Law Clerk at the beginning of 2022, having graduated from the University of Canterbury with an LLB with first class Honours and BA with a double major in French and European & European Union Studies. She particularly enjoys doing meaningful work that helps her clients, whether that be supporting charities with their great work in our communities or helping someone to purchase their first home.

In our commercial and property team, Sophie enjoys working with a wide range of clients, from for-purpose organisations to private and commercial clients, as well as Community Housing organisations. She engages with a wide variety of work, including both residential and commercial conveyancing, leases, structure advice for not-for-profit organisations (including charity restructures), assistance with updating key governing documents, and supporting community housing providers. Sophie was also involved with supporting many incorporated societies to prepare for and reregister under the Incorporated Societies Act 2022 and has been involved in several speaking engagements on the topic.

Outside of work, Sophie enjoys spending time with her family and friends, as well as baking and cooking up a storm.
