Matthew is a Solicitor in the Commercial and Impact teams at Parry Field Lawyers, based in our City office.

He joined the firm in February 2026 after graduating from the University of Otago with a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Economics and minoring in Accounting.

His commercial work includes software agreements, equity raises, share buy-backs, and drafting and reviewing commercial contracts.

Matthew is also passionate about helping charities and purpose-driven organisations thrive, providing practical advice on governance, incorporations, amendments, and other legal matters.

Outside of work, Matthew enjoys playing and watching football (including fantasy football), as well as basketball, table tennis, playing guitar, and investing.
