Cora is a Senior Associate in our Property and Commercial team, with a career in law spanning more than a decade. She advises a wide range of clients, including not-for-profits and charities, church groups, property developers, and investors.
She has experience across all aspects of property development, including acquisition, due diligence, contracts, and the subdivision process. She has managed numerous property developments, including staged unit title subdivisions, fee simple subdivisions with residents’ associations, and cross lease conversions.
In addition, Cora regularly acts on business acquisitions and sales, structuring, and has been involved in large share sale transactions.
Cora is passionate about Community Housing and works closely with Partners Paul Owens and Judith Bullin, acting on all aspects of this work including structuring advice, land acquisition, leasing, financing, contracting, and subdivisions.
Cora graduated from the University of Canterbury in 2021 with a Bachelor of Laws with Honours and was admitted to the bar in March 2022.
In 2026, Cora was recognised as a Rising Star, with the award presented by the New Zealand Law Society’s Property Law Section.
She currently serves on the board of Hagar New Zealand, a charity providing hope and healing for survivors of human trafficking.
