Gael joined Parry Field in early 2026, bringing with her specialist family law experience and a strong commitment to achieving outcomes that support the long-term wellbeing of her clients and their families.
Gael was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand in 2011 and has practised predominantly in family law throughout her career. She has experience across the full spectrum of family law matters, including parenting disputes, paternity, family violence, adoption, proceedings under the Protection of Personal and Property Rights Act 1988, and relationship property matters. She is known for providing practical, compassionate, and strategic advice while guiding clients through some of life’s most challenging circumstances.
Alongside her legal practice, Gael has a keen interest in the intersection of law, health, and ethics, having completed a postgraduate diploma in health law and bioethics through the University of Otago. She has also enjoyed serving in a number of governance roles and currently serves as a board member of the Ethos Alliance.
Outside of work, Gael is the proud mother of four young daughters. When time permits, she enjoys getting outdoors – whether cycling, running, or camping – and making the most of time spent with family and friends.
