Anna began her legal career at one of Aotearoa’s largest commercial law firms, working closely with investment managers and trustees to bring KiwiSaver schemes to market during the global financial crisis. She is driven by her passion for encouraging the financial wellbeing of New Zealanders.

Anna was instrumental in founding one of New Zealand’s first anti-money laundering consultancies. She helped numerous businesses get ready to comply with the Anti-Money Laundering and Countering Financing of Terrorism Act.

Anna translates legal complexity into practical guidance, and has extensive experience distilling dense legislation into clear obligations that empower clients to confidently manage legal risks across their businesses or charities.

In Parry Field’s impact team, Anna is excited to bring her experience to working with charities, social enterprises, and fund managers. She enjoys helping people turn good ideas into sustainable vehicles for doing good—whether that means setting up a trust with a clear purpose, choosing the right legal structure, or finding an appropriate way to catalyse impact. Anna works closely with clients, across New Zealand —always with a focus on making the law work for the change they want to see in the world.

Outside of work life, Anna has a fine eye for fashion, is a lover of good food and coffee, and comes from an avid family of runners. Anna can also often be found rolling up her sleeves to help her entrepreneurial friends – everything from events to general startup life requirements. Anna is a dedicated volunteer at Garden to Table, motivated by her desire to see our next generation grow, harvest, prepare, and manaaki nourishing kai for our nation’s health.
