Notary Public

A Notary Public is an internationally recognised public office appointed by the Archbishop of Canterbury whose primary duty is to prepare, attest, and certify deeds and other documents for use anywhere in the world, and from to time, note or protest bills of exchange or complete ships’ protests.

Please contact or Ken’s Secretary on to arrange an appointment with Ken Lord if you require documents to be notarised, or other notarial services. Ken is available for appointments on a Monday, Thursday and Friday.

Please remember that when you come for your appointment you must bring with you your original documents (not just copies) which are to be witnessed and/or copied as well as your current passport and/or drivers licence.  Notaries charge fees for their services and this is based on the time involved and complexity of the task.

At present the Notarial Fee is as follows:
